Mission Statements
The purpose of the East Troy Area Historical Society Museum is to provide a range of high-quality services for the benefit of the collections in our care and for the education and enjoyment of all our users.
The East Troy Area Historical Society’s mission is to collect, preserve and share the rich history of the entire East Troy area.
The ETAHS creates opportunities for all area community members to engage in historic exploration and understanding. It does so in the belief that such exploration is essential to a worthwhile understanding of our historic past and a healthy, vibrant local community.
In fulfilling this mission, the Society provides appropriate historical exhibitions at the Kubicki Museum & Heritage Center, 2106 Church Street, East Troy, WI.
In further fulfillment of this mission, the Society also presents informative historical programming through the year at different venues, along with educational programs and tours for school age children.
Goals
In consideration of the aforementioned mission statement, the ETAHS works diligently towards these five goals:
- Preserve the history of the East Troy Area
- Disseminate historic knowledge to the East Troy Area community
- Actively seek ways and means to display and share treasured artifacts
- Educate and enlighten future generations so that they may continue our work
- Continue to appropriately fund and manage the Kubicki Museum and Heritage Center
