Our legion all is located at the corner of School and Church Streets in the Village of East Troy. The building dates back to the early 1900’s and is in need of numerous repairs.
All of our usual fundraising was halted which included our corn roasting at local events, waiting tables at Pizza Ranch and a fundraiser raffle.
We did, however, receive raffle donations prior to the restrictions. These gifts included gift certificates from Princess Cafe, Milwaukee Admirals, Roma’s Restaurant, Milwaukee Wave, Blue Bay and other businesses promised their support closer to the Raffle date. We do know that a Raffle is not in our plans for this year. It has not been determined how these generous donations will be used at this time.
Going forward, we currently have contracted with Taylor Roofing to have the re-roofing of our building done, hopefully sometime yet this year.
